VisualMem is an independent educational project that publishes vocabulary-learning video lessons on YouTube and operates this website, along with an internal publishing tool ("VisualMem Publisher") that uses YouTube API Services.
This website
- visualmem.com is a static informational site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and collects no personal data.
- Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com); your browser's request for those font files is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- The interactive demo on the homepage plays image and audio files hosted on this site; no data about your interaction is recorded or transmitted.
VisualMem Publisher (our YouTube API tool)
VisualMem Publisher is an internal automation used solely by the VisualMem channel owner. It does two things: it uploads videos we create to YouTube channels we own, and it checks the publication status of those uploads.
Data we access and store
- OAuth 2.0 tokens for our own channels — granted by the channel owner, stored locally, never shared.
- Video IDs, titles and publish times of our own uploads, stored in a local database for scheduling and verification.
- We do not access, collect, store or share any data belonging to other YouTube users. The tool has no end users other than the channel owner.
YouTube API Services
- VisualMem Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By interacting with our channels' content you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's Privacy Policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Stored authorization can be revoked at any time via Google security settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Terms of use
All lesson content on our channels and this website (images, audio, video and text) is created by VisualMem and provided free of charge for personal, educational use. VisualMem is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
